Dr. Grissom was a heart surgeon. He was riding his Harley southbound on Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock when a driver turned left in his path. He was killed by the collision. This is the cover we developed for his novel that was never published. The story is based on true events. The Beatles found themselves in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, and JR built a fictional narrative around that historical account. It was always the “third man on a match” trying to light a cigarette who would get shot by a sniper.
