Eyvind Earle painted the backgrounds for the Disney classic, “Cinderella,” plus other animated feature films of the era. Later he found success as a fine art painter of imaginative landscapes built upon the color, design and pattern foundation he established as an animator. He was most popular in Japan, where the graphic quality of his compositions and brushwork were most appreciated.
